From the LifeScience & Healthcare division at WeHunt, we are supporting a global medical company in the search for a Sales Leader for the Benelux region.
Are you an experienced commercial leader in the medical device or pharmaceutical sector?
We are looking for a Sales Leader to drive regional strategy, manage a high-performing team, and strengthen market presence across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
The Role
You will oversee the commercial performance of the Benelux region, leading the sales team, engaging key stakeholders, and ensuring the successful execution of commercial and marketing plans. This is a highly strategic and hands-on field leadership position with strong impact on regional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Benelux sales team, ensuring revenue and growth targets are achieved.
- Drive regional commercial strategy and monitor KAM performance.
- Conduct regular field visits (3–4 days/week) to support team execution and remove barriers.
- Oversee local marketing activities, congresses, hospital events, and scientific engagements.
- Strengthen relationships with KOLs in collaboration with Medical Affairs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and CRM/BI analytics to maximize sales effectiveness.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory frameworks across NL, BE, and LUX.
Requirements
Must-have:
- 10+ years in pharma or medical devices, with hospital sales experience.
- Minimum 5 years managing and developing sales teams.
- Strong experience in Key Account Management.
- Fluency in French, Dutch/Flemish, and English.
- Ability to travel ~70%.
- Strong analytical mindset and proficiency with CRM/BI tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, or equivalent experience.
Nice to have:
- Experience in haemostasis or surgical fields.
- Track record of growing sales in competitive markets.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration (Marketing, Medical, Tender).
